Square Enix has announced that there’ll be an exclusive public event celebrating the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy coming to London in November. The Final Fantasy Pop-Up Experience will take place at 21 Slingsby Place, Covent Garden and is due to begin at 10am on November 3 until November 5. Visitors will be able to play classic games from the long-running series, peruse some of the artwork, and also buy some limited edition merch.
Across the three days, visitors can take part in epic 3v3 battles with iconic characters from the franchise in an enhanced demo of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT ahead of its release in January 2018. Attendees will also have the opportunity to pick up one of three mugs featuring Moogle, Chocobo and Cactuar designs in limited quantities. So you may want to hurry, just so you don’t get mugged off.
Square Enix has also announced that it’ll host two limited entry ‘intimate evening’ events, with Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Producer Ichiro Hazama on Friday November 3, followed by Final Fantasy XIV Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida on Sunday November 5. These evening events will be for a limited number of ticketed guests only and you can apply for a ticket through the Dissidia Final Fantasy Facebook or Twitter, or the Final Fantasy XIV Facebook or Twitter pages.
