A 500GB hard drive will launch soon for the Xbox 360 Slim and “E” model consoles, Microsoft has revealed.
The drive is listed on Xbox.com for £109.99, $20 cheaper than the currently available 320GB drive. The smaller hard drive is likely to be reduced in price to make way for the larger capacity.
No release date for the 500GB disk drive has been announced. Indeed, it’s not yet known if the larger capacity model will be sold outside of the US.
Whilst some might argue that the 500GB capacity drive is coming a little late in the console’s life, many users taking advantage of free games with Gold may be seeking additional storage space.
