PES 2012 on PlayStation 3 will be updated on or close to launch to support 3D on compatible TVs, PES Productions producer Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.
Confirmation of 3D came after Seabass was quizzed on the possibility of bringing 3D to home console PES versions, following the release of PES 2011 3D for 3DS earlier this year.
The update will be included with the patch which will introduce myPES, the new social tool, to the game.
Xbox 360 gamers are out of luck as there are no plans to bring the 3D update to Microsoft’s console.
It was confirmed earlier today that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are the two English Premier League teams officially licensed to appear in PES 2012.
PES 2012 will be released October 14 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
