When EA tied up exclusive rights to the NFL and ESPN licenses 2K Sports’ successful NFL 2K series ended. Regarded as the best video game recreation of American football, the series was heavily missed in the years to come.
It comes as great news to fans of the 2K Sports series then that a successor is in the works and will be released for next-gen systems in the summer. All-Pro Football 2K8 from Visual Concepts will feature legendary gameplay, innovative features, and outstanding visual quality.
“Football gamers have been awaiting the return of the 2K series,” said Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio. “All-Pro Football 2K8 will deliver an authentic next generation gridiron experience and we are happy to give fans another choice in the football category.“
All-Pro Football 2K8 will be released in the summer on next-gen video game systems.
