Dennis Haysbert has joined the cast of an upcoming Dead Rising movie, The Wrap reports.
Haysbert is best known for his role as 24’s President Palmer, having previously appeared in Heat and Navy Seals.
According to the report, Leprechaun: Origins director Zach Lipovsky has been signed up to direct the feature-length flick, with the movie set to appear as an exclusive digital release on Crackle in the US. It will later release on other video on demand services.
Tim Carter, who wrote the script to 2012’s Sleeping Dogs, is also said to be on-board to write the movie’s script.
The latest Dead Rising title, Dead Rising 3, launched on Xbox One last November and on PC earlier this month.
