Angry Birds Rio the new Angry Birds title which ties-in with the animated motion picture Rio, has notched up 10 million downloads in just 10 days, developer Rovio Mobile announced last Friday.
“10 in 10:-) Angry Birds Rio breaking all records,” Tweeted Rovio. “A massive thanks to all our fans!!!”
Angry Birds Rio was released on March 17 for iOS devices. A cut down version, Angry Birds Rio Free was released around a week later on March 22. A version for Android devices also launched on March 22, made available for free via Amazon.
