Speaking to MacKenzie Financial, Ron Bertram, vice president and general manager for Nintendo of Canada said: “We’re looking at a million for North America at launch.”
Bertram went on to signal great things for the Wii’s launch: “If we get what we’re supposed to get, this will be our most plentiful launch in the 15 years I’ve been at Nintendo.“
The Wii will launch in North America on November 19, followed by Japan on December 2 and Europe on December 8.
