There will be no demo for Marvel vs Capcom 3, Capcom’s VP of strategic planning, Christian Svensson has confirmed.
Asked in a Capcom Unity Q&A if the publisher had plans for a demo, Svensson said: “Sorry, but zero percent. As with Street Fighter IV, there will be no demo for Marvel vs Capcom 3.”
Thankfully the wait for MvC3 is almost over, with the game hitting stores on February 18, 2011.
The lack of a demo is disappointing, but Capcom didn’t provide one for Street Fighter IV so it’s hardly surprising.
The inability for players to trial the game before buying didn’t damper its sales either, shifting over three million copies in its first month.
