SEGA has unveiled a trailer for a new Sonic game coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 this year.
The trailer – found exclusively on the Sonic Facebook page – features the Sonic the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary logo and shows new style Sonic racing through a sparsely coloured chequered world of hills and loops, before old style Sonic shows up.
The trailer ends confirming a 2011 release date for Xbox 360 and PS3. There’s no mention of Wii.
We’re not entirely sure what to make of the teaser trailer. We could be getting a remake of the original Sonic titles using the Sonic 4 game engine, or perhaps an all-new game in which more than one version of Sonic exists.
