Rare’s Killer Instinct has to be one of the most requested franchises fans want to see make a return, but now, over four years into the life of the Xbox 360, there’s still no sign of a return.
However, according to Ken Lobb, creative director of Microsoft Game Studios, there is reason to keep the faith – he wants to bring the franchise back too.
“I love KI. We want to make KI,” Lobb told Destructoid at X10 last week. “We aren’t working on it today… Someday we will bring back KI.”
Someday is a pretty vague statement, but it does at least leave the door open for a future release of some kind.
