According to the trade paper MCV, lads mag Maxim will come complete with a cover mounted videogames DVD in September. The DVD will be packed with PC game demos and videogame trailers. Should the cover disc prove a success it should appear alongside scantily clad women on a quarterly basis.
MCV are reporting that videogame publishers are bending over backwards to get their games on the cover disc, hoping to target the lucrative young adult male market the magazine sells to.
