An iPhone app which links in with Deep Silver’s Dead Island on console and PC will be released September 6 priced $2.99.
The app allows players to track their progress in the retail game, plus provides the ability to locate collectibles and keep tabs on mission objectives. Players also get a detailed map of Banoi Island.
The app’s been created by BradyGames in partnership with Dead Island studio techland.
Dead Island hits UK stores on Friday for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
