Throne and Liberty has many unlockables with one of them being the Goblin Butcher skin. This skin is one of the many morphs you have access to that allow you to shapeshift into a goblin and walk among other enemies without alerting them.

Of course, before you can get your hands on this skin, you must first learn how to unlock it. This is easier said than done since you need to complete various tasks to obtain this skin. Let’s break down how to obtain the Goblin Butcher skin.

How to get the Goblin Butcher skin

To get the Goblin Butcher skin in Throne and Liberty, you must complete the codex called Butcher in the Field. This side quest requires you to complete four tasks in Urstella Fields. If you have not reached this area yet, you can do so by following the path north from Golden Rye Pastures – another area with a codex that unlocks a shapeshifting skin. Once you have interacted with the waypoint in the area, you’ll receive the codex quest.

Collect a Gatherable Item at Urstella Fields

Gatherable items in Urstella Fields consist of anything that you can collect. These include resources such as wood, stone, ore, and herbs. These typically get marked on the map when they are nearby and appear as small ore piles, leaves, and tree trunks. Gather items from these locations to count toward the quest.

Defeat goblins suffering from Dancing Fever

There are no goblins that directly state they are suffering from Dancing Fever. Thankfully, they are easy to spot. Typically, you’ll find these goblins near a shaman who is forcing others to dance. Be careful, however, because attacking one goblin in the group will typically alert all of them. Because of this, you should come prepared for a fight.

Defeat the Giant Butcher Goblin

There are three locations where Giant Goblin Butchers can spawn in Urstella Fields – one to the north, one to the south, and one to the southeast. Check each of these locations while in the field to locate a Giant Goblin Butcher. Since this is a rare spawn, it may take some time for one to appear. Just keep travelling across the fields until you locate one in one of these areas.

Collect Goblin Loot from Urstella Fields

Goblin Loot can be found all across the fields. The usual spot where you’ll find loot like this is near areas where goblins are grouped up. We found our loot while taking out the dancing goblins which made it easy. Just make sure you have strong weapons in case multiple goblins come out and attack. Once you have completed all of the tasks for the codex, you will be rewarded with the Goblin Butcher shapeshifting skin.
