Throne and Liberty offers many different methods of creating builds centred around the game’s weapons. These weapons include the greatsword, longbow, crossbow, staff, wand, sword, and even daggers. We’ll be focusing on using both daggers and crossbows to increase our critical hit chance and deal large amounts of damage.
We will also be focusing on increasing our dexterity, wisdom, and perception stats so we have high damage output, plenty of mana, and a greater chance to hit with critical strikes. Let’s break down how to create a dagger build in Throne and Liberty with a high critical hit chance focus.

Our Dagger and crossbow build
For the dagger and crossbow build, we’ll focus on skills that increase our critical hit chance and damage output. It doesn’t hurt to have some added mobility as well. Keep this in mind when selecting your skills. To start things off, you’ll want to have a strong Defence Skill.
For your Defence skill, we will be going with Block Blade. This ability grants us mana for defending against a fury attack, a guaranteed critical hit, and turns the standard dagger attack into poison daggers for a short period of time, allowing you to proc poison on your foes.
Active Skills
As far as other abilities go, check the table below for a list of active skills we will be utilizing for this Throne and Liberty build.

| Quick Fire | Attack three times consecutively. Each hit deals damage equal to 120% of base damage. |
| Nimble Leap | Move five meters towards the designated direction. Attack speed increases by 20% and range increases by 20%. |
| Mortal Mark | Deals 200% and has an 80% chance to weaken and mark the target. When attacking a marked target, deal 18% of base damage. |
| Selfless Diffusion | Removes all blind and move speed reduction effects from you. Enables you to pass through other targets. |
| Thorn Gale | For six seconds, a projectile attack fires an additional projectile, dealing damage equal to 29% of base damage. |
| Mana Exchange | Consume 450 health to recover 390 mana. |
Passive Skills
Choose the following passive skills to help complete the dagger and crossbow build:

Mastery
When it comes to mastery, you will want to focus on the Assassin branch for the daggers. This will give you bonuses to critical hit chance, base damage, and off-hand weapon damage. Some skills will also increase your attack speed, allowing you to hit more often.
For the crossbows, you will want to focus on the Chain Fire branch. This branch will give you increases to your base damage, off-hand weapon damage, attack speed, and skills. You will also get mana regen and faster cooldown speeds, allowing you to use your skills more often.
Best weapons and armour
The weapons and armour that you use for this build will focus on increasing your critical hit chance. This will increase your overall damage. The Death Set will increase your critical hit chance as well as your movement speed and mana regen.

How to run the dagger and crossbow build
One of the main skills you will utilize with this build is Inject Venom. The reason for this is that it allows you to apply poison to your foes. This, in turn, gives you various bonuses that increase your critical hit chance, allowing you to deal more damage. Using this skill with Thorn Gale allows you to more easily proc poison on your foes. You can switch out a skill for Multi-Shot if you want an ability that can hit multiple foes quickly.
The dagger and crossbow build is a very casual build that allows you to spam attacks or time abilities to deal the most damage. As stated above, focusing on using Inject Venom first will allow you to get more critical hits faster. After this ability is used, focus on using your higher damage-dealing abilities such as Quick Fire or Brutal Incision. When the time is right, use your defence skill to obtain poison daggers to inflict even more poison on your foes. You can also utilize the movement skills Shadow Strike and Nimble Leap to get out of harm’s way.
While levelling up, you will want to focus on gear that increases your health, critical hit chance, and evasiveness. This will help you until you reach max level. Once this has been accomplished, focus on obtaining the Death armour set as this will give you the best stat increases for the critical hit build.
