Kay Vess – Humberly Gonzalez
Outlaws’ hero, Kay Vess, is played by Humberly Gonzalez. She’s a quick witted scoundrel-come-thief on a mission to score the greatest heist the galaxy has ever seen to secure a new start. Gonzalez has dipped her toes into the world of games before playing Mercedes Martin in Far Cry 6 and voice work in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. However, the Canadian actress is best known for her on-screen acting, including roles in Ginny & Georgia, Orphan Black, and Utopia Falls.
Young Kay is voiced by Aaliyah Cinello, a Canadian actress with credits in Kim’s Convenience, RoboCop, and Heroes Reborn. Cinello made her initial pivot to video game voice work portraying Young Citra in Far Cry 6.
Nix – Dee Bradley Baker
A loyal companion that’s more than a cute face, Nix plays a crucial role in Kay’s journey, providing all manner of useful abilities to thieve and distract. Dee Bradley Baker voices Nix, using experience amassed in roles in games like in games like Halo, Destiny, and Overwatch to bring the creature to life. Baker is better known for lending his voice to Captain Rex in the animated series Star Wars The Clone Wars, Star Wars The Bad Batch, and Star Wars Rebels. His enviable filmography also includes credits in American Dad!, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Space Jam, and SpongeBob SquarePants to name a few.
ND-5 – Jay Rincon
A reluctant ally to Kay and Nix, ND-5 is a BX commando droid that’s seen it all, as evidenced by the scars, knicks, and scuffs peppering his body. He’s the gang’s main enforcer, learning on brawn to deal with the Empire’s finest and the unscrupulous outlaws they’ll meet. Jay Rincon takes on the role of ND-5, channelling some major video game experience, including work in Stellar Blade, RoboCop: Rogue City, Dead Island 2, Atomic Heart, Horizon Forbidden West, and Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Rincon is no stranger to the big screen either with roles in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and The Beekeeper.
Jaylen Vrax – Eric Johnson
Jaylen Vax is a charismatic mentor who has seen better days. He’s on hand to dish out sage advice to Kay but also lucrative job opportunities including the major heist targeting the Zerek Besh crime syndicate. The character is voiced by Eric Johnson, known for his voice work as Ivarr the Boneless in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Sam Fisher in 2013’s Splinter Cell Blacklist. Johnson also has a stacked filmography covering both TV and film, including roles in Flash Gordon, American Gods, Vikings, Fifty Shades Darker, and Smallville.
Sliro – Caolan Byrne
A ruthless underworld crime lord, Sliro is Outlaws’ main villain and head of the Zerek Besh syndicate. Among countless questionable actions, he’s responsible for putting a bounty out on Kay’s head. Northern Irish actor Caolan Byrne plays Sliro, his first foray into video games. He’s known for roles in Doctor Who, Das Boot, Dead Shot, The Wonder, and the acclaimed Chernobyl mini-series.
Vail – Mercedes Morris
Vail is a no-nonsense bounty hunter and mercenary hired by Sliro to track down Kay. The character is a brand new creation for the game with no previous appearances in past Star Wars media whether that’s games, TV, or films. She’s played by Mercedes Morris, a Canadian actress with appearances in Far Cry 6 as Talia Benavidez. Her on-screen credits include What We Do in the Shadows, American Gods, Ghosts, and Slasher, among many others.
