Silent Hill f Secret Box Puzzle solution

As you explore Ebisugaoka Middle School, there are traps aplenty as well as a puzzle box to solve. Head to the second floor of the middle school and go into the open classroom. Once you’re in this room, you can’t leave until you’ve solved the puzzle.
Along with the Secret Box puzzle is an Unopened Envelope left next to it, which provides clues for you to use to solve it. The text of the letter remains the same regardless of the difficulty.
Story Mode Solution
The puzzle has three phases, meaning you only have to find one key phrase per stage. Examining the text, the key phrases in the Unopened Envelope are sweet fruits, journal, and sakura.
The puzzle has eight white parts that you can interact with. For the first part of the puzzle, reveal the strawberry and cherry icons on the puzzle. Moving on to the second, reveal the three books on the puzzle.
Finally, for the third part of the puzzle, reveal the cherry blossom branch to complete the puzzle.
Hard Mode Solution
While the rules and aim of the puzzle don’t change, finding the solution is significantly more complicated, as you can only interact with the brown slats. For each word, you’ll now need to reveal more icons to progress through the puzzle.
For the first part, there are now more fruits to unveil. You will need to reveal the apple, cherry, orange, strawberry, pineapple, and grapes to progress.
Secondly, reveal all four book icons. Finally, you need to find two cherry blossom branches.
Lost in the Fog Solution
If you’re playing on Lost in the Fog, you can interact with all of the slats on the Secret Box Puzzle, giving you 20 items to choose from. Like the previous difficulty, there will now be items to unveil.
For the first stage of the puzzle, reveal the cherry, berries, strawberry, pineapple, orange, and apple.
Moving on to the second phase of the puzzle, reveal all five books. Finally, find all four cherry blossom branches.
Ominous Photo Puzzle Solution in Silent Hill f

The Ominous Photo puzzle is in the Shimizu Residence I. To access the puzzle, you need to obtain the photo of Hinako from the southeast storage room in the Shimizu Residence II. With this in your inventory, head back to the Shimizu Residence III, where you can start the puzzle.
It’s important to keep in mind that the solution to this puzzle changes depending on what ending you are heading towards. The puzzle appears more challenging than it actually is. The puzzle features up to five people defaced in the photos, with the number changing depending on the difficulty level you’re playing on.
Regardless of the difficulty, to solve the puzzle, you need to flip over every photo in the group that shows someone crossed out so they are upside down. Once you’ve done this correctly, the Ominous Photo will fall off the wall, and you’ll be able to retrieve the White Bird and Fox plate, crucial for a later puzzle.
