Square Enix has hit it out of the park with Rise of the Tomb Raider, delivering a game that expertly builds on the 2013 reboot by offering a bigger game world, more secrets to find and brand new abilities for Lara. It’s also one of the most visually impressive games we’ve ever seen, combining wonderful lighting and superb architecture to produce great results.
Rise of the Tomb Raider gives players an epic adventure and plenty of optional content to get stuck into, but it’s a surprisingly complex game. As well as a large skill tree split into three categories, there are numerous collectibles to find and side missions to take on, earning you rewards. There’s also the not small matter of nine Challenge Tombs to find and complete, each giving Lara a special ability not found anywhere else.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently only available on Xbox One and Xbox 360, but is coming to PC next spring and PS4 at the end of 2016.
