How to catch Snivy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC
If you want to catch Snivy, you must upgrade the Savanna Biome of the Terarium by contributing 3,000 Blueberry Points (BP) to the Terarium Club. This is done by visiting the League Club Room computer. Once you upgrade the biome, you will see other Pokemon like Charmander and Totodile.
Snivy can be found in the northeastern section of the Savanna Biome. For us, Snivy appeared to spawn more often around the water. Sticking near the water, we were able to find three Snivy pretty quickly.
Like other starter Pokemon, Snivy will be found between levels 50 and 70. Make sure to bring a Pokemon with the move False Swipe to help catch this Pokemon without making it faint.
How to evolve Snivy in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC
If you want to evolve Snivy, you need to level this Pokemon up. Snivy evolves into Servine at level 17. Servine then evolves into Serperior at level 36. Since you will catch Snivy above the level it evolves, you will need to level it up once to get Servine and level up Servine once to get Serperior.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Snivy and its evolutions are pur grass-type Pokemon. This means that it is weak to fire, ice, flying, and bug-type moves. Snivy is resistant to water, electric, grass, and ground-type moves.
After evolving into Serperior, this Pokemon has the following abilities:
- Overgrow – When HP is below 33% its maximum, the power of grass-type moves is increased by 50%
- Contrary (Hidden Ability) Moves used on the Pokmeon that raise stats lower the stats, while the moves that lower the stats raise the stats
