If you are looking for a Dragon-type Pokémon in your team, what else could be better than Gible?

A lovely, sweet yet naughty specie in stage 1 but a substantial, conquered monster after evolutions. With a true warrior like Garchomp in battle, how possibly can you lose?

This article will show you how to evolve Gible into Gabite and Garchomp in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!

Where to find Gible

Gible is also known as “The Land Shark Pokémon”, which means it possesses shark characteristics. Gible naturally prefers hiding in its caves or nests, waiting for its prey to come and suddenly chomping them.

Gible is kind of unfriendly and aggressive, it tends to bite or pounce back when staying too close.

Gible appears within levels 10-26 in caves at Area Six (South Province), in Glaseado Mountain or Paldea Province, you can catch Gible with levels up to 60. Just directly come to the following places and capture Gible:

  • North Province (Area One, Two, Three)
  • East Province (Area One, Three)
  • South Province (Area One, Six)
  • West Province (Area One, Two, Three)
  • Glaseado Mountain

How to Evolve Gible into Gabite

In theory, Gible’s evolution will happen at level 24. But if you are a kind of impatient person, here is the list of places to catch Gabite directly:

  • North Province (Area One, Two, Three)
  • East Province (Area One, Three)
  • South Province (Area One, Six)
  • West Province (Area One, Two, Three)
  • Glaseado Mountain
  • Alfornada Cavern

In the pre-maturing stage, Gabite needs medicine as support for treatment. Gabite molts and grows its size significantly, it also looks for treasures around its nests for storage. Due to its Dragon type, Gabite can learn some specific physical moves of a Dragon like Dragon Claw or Slash. These are super powerful, especially against other Dragon-type Pokémon.

How to Evolve Gabite into Garchomp

The highest stage of Gible is Garchomp, which evolves at level 48.

Garchomp has wings that look like blades, that can make slight damage to nearby trees when in a high-speed run. This Pokémon also has rough and dark blue skin, the tail of a shark, and protuberances as its sensor to hunt prey.

You can capture a wild Garchomp in the following locations:

  • Pokémon League
  • East Province (Area One)
  • West Province (Area One, Two, Three)
  • The Great Crater of Paldea
  • Glaseado Mountain

Garchomp is usually visible in rocky biomes, especially in the deepest level of The Great Crater of Paldea. At its peak evolution, Garchomp can learn many almighty and crushing moves such as Dig, Sand Storm, or Take Down. Crunch is one of the specific moves that Garchomp obtains post-evolution, allowing it to overwhelm Psychic or Ghost Pokémon.
