To taunt in Mortal Kombat 1, you will need to press the down button four times in quick succession. The button combination is the same across all platforms MK1 is available on, including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Once you’ve pressed it correctly, your character will perform a provocative move that could goad your enemy into attacking.

Remember, though, that you cannot cancel this action, which means you’re also opening yourself up for a deadly combo as soon as it starts.
