Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest instalment in the critically acclaimed Monster Hunter series, developed and published by Capcom. Set in a vast, untamed wilderness, players take on the role of a hunter tasked with tracking and slaying powerful, mythical creatures. Monster Hunter Wilds was released on PC through Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players have tried playing the game on Steam Deck during the beta test period and have reported that it works, though it still wasn’t officially verified. In addition, judging by previous Capcom releases, it’s unlikely that Monster Hunter Wilds will be on the Xbox Game Pass – at the very least, not initially.
