With Season 2 ending, Call of Duty MW2 Season 3 is looming on the horizon, promising players plenty of new content to inject some life into a game that is seemingly hemorrhaging players.
Modern Warfare 2’s Season 3 is set to begin on April 12. Start times are as follows:

The Season 2 battle pass will end a day earlier on April 11.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 filesize
The filesize of the Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 update clocks in at around 18-20GB, so be sure to clear enough room on your console before you download. Pre-loading has already begun on PlayStation, and we expect will be available very soon on Xbox and PC.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 battle pass
Like all seasons so far, a new battle pass is all but guaranteed and expected to stick to the established 100-tier format with a selection of skins, weapons, gear, and an operator to unlock. Confirmed Battle Pass content is as follows:
- Blackcell premium Battle Pass upgrade.
- Task Force 141.
- New weapons – FJX Imperium, Cronen Squall, new pistol.
- New operators – Alejandro and Valeria.
