Blueprints are found all over Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s two field locations. These designs for weapons and equipment can be essential to your missions: some upgrade basic gear like Snake’s bionic arm, others offer stronger weapons. Un-AAM

Another weapon all over the place, grab this in one of: the Kzibia Camp, NW Guard Post, South Guard Post, Bampeve Plantation, SW Guard Post or Nova Braga Airport during mission 21.

URAGAN-5

After completing mission 16, head to the Bampeve Plantation (one of the north-most camps on the map) and you’ll find it hidden in there.

Stun Grenade

Head to the Kiziba Camp (Northwest, just before the oilfield).

G44

Head to the Ditandi abandoned village (centre of the map, south of Bampeve Plantation).

Kabarga-83

To grab this shotgun, head to the Mfinda Oilfield.

Brennan LRS-46

After completing mission 23, you’ll find this in the Lufwa Valley.

Flamethrower

After completing mission 31, you’ll find a blueprint for this in Munokoya Nioka, or you can get the gunship to drop it during mission 41.

MACHT 37

This machine gun takes a little while to unlock. The earliest you’ll get it is during mission 21, if you manage to get the gunship to drop it. If not, it’ll be available after mission 23, in the Kunenga Mine (where you rescued the children).

Isando RGL-220

This grenade launcher is all over the place: either in the Ditadi Abandoned Village, South Guard Post, Kunenga Mine, West Guard Post, Munoko ya Nioka Station, NE Guard Post, Nova Braga Airport or South Guard Post.

Antitheft Device

Complete side op 8 to unlock this.

Gun-Cam Defender

Complete side op 9 at Nova Braga Airport to unlock this.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain blueprint locations – Afghanistan

UN-ARC

This assault rifle is found in the Wakh Sind Barracks during mission 5, or you can grab it from the Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost (far west of the map, beyond the Wakh Sind Barracks) after completing mission 6.

Riot SMG

Complete side op 5 in Da Wialo Kallai to unlock one of the game’s early SMGs.

PB Shield

During mission 7, this’ll be in the Ghwandai Town or Wialo Village. After you’ve completed mission 6, it’ll be in the Aabe Shifap Ruins, East Guard Post or Smasei Fort.

Bambetov SV

After completing mission 6, this sniper blueprint will be in Lamar Khaate Palace (west of the map, the giant outpost with the crumbling building with two mounted guns stationed on its outskirts). Or, during mission 12, it’ll be in the Afghanistan Central Base Camp.

UA-Drone

Beat side op 10 in the Afghan Central Base Camp to unlock the UA_Drone.

Stun Arm

You’ll grab the Stun Arm upgrade by beating side op 6.

IR-Sensor

Beat side op 7 and you’ll unlock the IR Sensor.
