The summer event in Marvel Rivals has finally been revealed. As previously leaked, the event brings several swimsuit skins and many other cosmetics. Interestingly, some of these items will be free, and you can unlock them for a limited time. One of the free items is the Worthy Waves skin for Thor, one of the game’s most popular tanks.
In this guide, we will explain all you need to do to get Thor’s summer skin for free in Marvel Rivals. The process is quite simple, although you will need to play matches to add the skin to your collection.
How to get the free Thor summer skin in Marvel Rivals?
Thor, Luna Snow, and The Thing are all part of the summer event in the game. While Luna Snow and The Thing require you to purchase a premium track of the event pass, Thor’s summer skin is free. The best part? It’s on the second page of the pass, so you won’t have to play for too long to unlock it.
To unlock Thor’s Worthy Waves skin for free, please follow these steps:
- Launch Marvel Rivals
- Play matches to earn EXP
- Level up the event pass until you reach Page 14
- Claim the free Thor skin
Before you unlock the skin, you will unlock many other cosmetics, including Thor’s emote and spray. Furthermore, you’ll receive 200 Unstable Molecules, which you can use to purchase color costumes for various skins. If you purchase the premium track, you’ll be able to unlock even more items, including skins for Luna Snow and The Thing.
As NetEase revealed in the patch notes, the summer event will end on August 15 at 2 AM Pacific Time. In other words, you have a month to unlock Thor’s summer skin for free, which is more than enough time. The skin will be available throughout the entire Season 3, as well as in the first week of Season 3.5.
