Wave 2 of Marvel Rivals summer skins brings lots of fancy cosmetics. Five characters will receive new outfits, and one of them will be free. On top of this, NetEase will release many other cosmetics that can be unlocked for free, and all of them will be available for a limited time.
Once again, you can unlock a free skin for The Thing. Interestingly, this member of the Fantastic Four received a summer skin earlier this year, with the first wave of summer skins. However, his new costume is free, and you can easily add it to your Marvel Rivals account.
How to unlock The Thing’s summer skin in Marvel Rivals for free?
To unlock the Rocky Tide summer skin for The Thing, you don’t have to spend a dime. While the premium event pass requires Lattice, you can get the regular track for free. Fortunately, this track includes a free skin, which you can unlock by reaching level 14 in the pass.
The only way to unlock the new Marvel Rivals summer skin for free is by completing matches. By doing this, you will earn XP and level up. Once you reach level 14, you’ll unlock the free skin, as well as its matching accessories, such as a nameplate and a spray.
The event pass has 21 rewards, 13 of which are free. The table below shows all the rewards you can unlock during the event. Free rewards are marked with bold, so make sure to participate in the event and unlock them all.
