Peppered throughout Chapter 4 The Institute are six Little Nightmares 3 ghost locations. They are exclusive to the final level, much like the crows in chapter 1 and the Lady Statues in chapter 3. These ghosts are suitably well-hidden given their spectral appearance, but are well worth tracking down to earn yourself the Institutionalized trophy.
Some are easy enough to find as you venture through The Institute, while others require rummaging around in the darker corners of areas. To ‘find’ a ghost, all you need to do is walk through them. We’ll explain where to find all six Little Nightmares 3 ghost locations in Chapter 4 The Institute, below.

Ghost one
The first Little Nightmares 3 ghost location is at the very start of the chapter. Before venturing into The Institute, head to the very bottom of the screen to the right of the entrance. Go past the staircase and near the wall, and you’ll find the ghost.

Head inside the Institute, pull off the plank to clear the path, and continue until you reach a large gap you need to cross by shimmying along the wall on the right while also dealing with the plant on the other side. Once across, go straight ahead, and you’ll find the ghost to the right of a large garbage bin.

The third Little Nightmares 3 ghost location is just after the dentist’s room. Ring the bell using Alone’s Wrench to clear the massive leg, then head through the now-open hole in the wall. You’ll find the ghost sitting on the bench on the left of the room.
Ghost four
Shortly after the chase sequence with the massive arm, continue left until you reach a large flight of stairs. Stay at the foot of the levels and make your way over to the left side of the room to find the ghost by the coatstand.
Ghost five
After meeting The Councilor and shooting his hand-eye with Low’s bow, press on up through the platforming section. You’ll then find yourself in a corridor with a lever. Pull the lever, then scramble through the gap if you’re playing as Low to enter the next room. You’ll find the ghost on a bench in the top right corner of the room.
Ghost six
After the elevator ride, press on right, then right again through a gap in the wall. Grab the key from the suitcase. Retrace your steps and move down towards the camera across a plank, and use the key on the door on the left. Go through into the unlocked room, and you’ll find the sixth Little Nightmares 3 ghost location at the foot of the bed by a large cardboard box.
