To unlock the Bird-Brained trophy, you’ll need to find and shoot down 11 Little Nightmares 3 crows during Chapter 1 Necropolis. To ground these pesky squawkers, you’ll need to play as Low so that you can use the bow. Note that there are crows scattered throughout the level, but only some of them can be shot down and counted towards the trophy.
Though most of the Little Nightmares 3 crow locations are relatively easy to spot, a few are harder to track down, making the task of shooting them all a little tricky. To make spotting them easier, it’s worth turning on the Highlight Interactibles option in the Accessibility portion of the Options menu. Don’t hesitate to use ‘restart from checkpoint’ if any of them fly away too quickly. Here, we’ll walk you through where to find all 11 crows in a single playthrough of the chapter.
- There are 11 crows to shoot.
- They are all found in Chapter 1 Necropolis.
- Play as Low so that you have access to the bow.
- Shooting all the crows earns you the Bird-Brained trophy.
Crow one
The second Little Nightmares 3 crow is found just after you climb the long ladder to reach the Necropolis at the start of Chapter 1. When you reach the top of the ladder, note that doorway in the background. You’ll spot the crow in a gap in the wall up in the top right.
Crow two
The second crow is very close to the first. Pass into the next scene by going right, and you’ll spot a statue in the near background. The crow is sitting atop the statue’s head. Use the bow to take it down.
Crows three, four, and five
Press on until you reach a door that requires a key. As part of the story, you’ll be encouraged to shoot down a crow perched on a sitting statue to get the key. Check the background, and you’ll spot two more Little Nightmares 3 crows hanging out on a gap in the background to the right.
Crow six
After getting the umbrella, take the zipline. You’ll soon reach a ledge. You’ll need to jump down and use the umbrella to survive, but first look in the top-right to spot the sixth Little Nightmares 3 crow. This one flies off quickly, so have your bow ready and tap shoot as soon as you hear Low pull on the bow.
Crows seven, eight, nine, and 10
After sneaking past the Monster Baby for the first time, defeat the four flying bugs. Press on and ride the air shafts upwards. You’ll then need to survive the short chase sequence with the baby by jumping down into the hole left by the rattler. Continue and you’ll land near a group of creepy statues.
The seventh crow is perched on a statue on the left side of the scene (to get this one before it flies away, don’t step too far into the scene). The eighth and ninth Little Nightmares 3 crows are on a small ledge in the center background, and the tenth is perched in the top right.
Crow 11
After the Monster Baby captures you and after the cutscene involving the child’s bedroom that follows, press on until you come out outside near the baby. The eleventh Little Nightmares 3 crow is located on the large white rattler ring in the background near the Monster Baby.
