The start of the Scorched Earth event in Hunt: Showdown 1896 marks the arrival of new weekly challenges in the game. Accomplishing these tasks will net you a good amount of Event Points and Blood Bonds so try not to pass up on these rewards.
Weekly challenges
Scorched Earth will end on October 7, 2024, meaning the event will last for just over seven weeks.  A new set of challenges will be given out every Wednesday at 8am BST for the duration of the event. Here’s a rundown of all the tasks that have been revealed so far.
Week 1

| Land 10 shots on enemy Hunters using Pistols | 750 EP, 10 BB |

| Set 10 living enemy Hunters on fire | 1,000 EP, 10 BB |
| Deal 1,000 damage to enemy Hunters using any variant of Krag | 1,000 EP, 10 BB) |
Completing all of this week’s challenges will give you a total of 5000 Event Points and 50 Blood Bonds. Assuming the rewards remain consistent throughout the event, you’re looking at 42,000 Event Points and 350 Blood Bonds by the time it’s over.
