The highly anticipated Season 2.5 update for Marvel Rivals, dropping later this week, is expected to shake up the battlefield with tons of new content. NetEase Games has added Ultron as a playable Strategist hero, with lethal skills and devoted droids.
Along with Ultron, players can explore the new Arakko convoy map and get a big balancing patch that buffs and nerfs heroes like Iron Fist and Emma Frost while also adding six new Team-Up abilities to reconfigure gameplay dynamics. Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol, a revolutionary autochess-inspired mode, is also included in the update, promising increased strategic depth.

In Marvel Rivals Season 2.5, the Golden Ultron skin is available for free after earning Gold Tier III in Competitive mode. The game has once again provided a free costume for those that grind its ranked mode.
Here’s the official description, as mentioned under the Golden Ultron skin: “Perhaps I should make my presence known at the Hellfire Gala in this golden form of mine.”
The skin is beautifully themed after the Hellfire Gala season and Battle Pass, with gold accents on the costume. All you have to do is play the game’s Competitive mode and level up to tier III Gold to get the outfit for free. Furthermore, the outfit’s design improves as you level up, and if you make it to the top One Above All level, you’ll have collected all of the rewards.
