The Frozen Northern Pike is a fish that doubles as a melee weapon that players can find randomly in loot chests at points of interest in Once human. However, if you actually want it as part of your build, such as a frozen vortex build, you’ll need to track down the blueprint, allowing you to craft it in your Territory base. Here’s a closer look at how to get the Frozen Northern Pike in Once Human.
How to get Frozen Northern Pike Frag blueprints
To get the Frozen Northern Pike Blueprint, you will need to fish. More importantly, you need to catch at least 10 Northern Pikes. You will also need a Northern Pike to craft the weapon, taking the total to 11.
You can fish anywhere you like in Once Human, though some areas are better than others. One of the best areas to fish for the Northern pike is at docks next to Meyer’s Market. You’ll find the spot in the southeast of the Broken Delta region.
You need a fishing rod and bait to fish. You can get bait from the fishing vendor on the dock near Meyer’s Market or at any other fishing dock. Rough bait costs 5 Energy Links each, while Regular Bait costs 50 each. We recommend using bait to increase the chance of successfully catching rarer fish, including the Northern Pike. You can also craft Bait at the Supplies bench if you have the recipe unlocked.
Once you have your 10 Northern Pikes, you now need to go to the fishing dock area in Red Sands or the Blackzone. There’s a small fishing dock with a vendor to the west of the Blackfell Dead Zone in Red Sands. Follow the map west to the small lake near the white sand next to the main city. You can also go to the fishing dock on the southeast beach of the Blackzone that borders northeastern Red Sands.
Once you’re at the vendor, purchase the recipe and you can then unlock the blueprint in the melee weapons blueprint tab. You can now make the Frozen Northern Pike at your weapon’s bench.
