Pets are a new feature in Diablo 4 that allow players to bring a companion with them to quest and fight enemies. These companions play a crucial role in looting items rapidly. With the new release of Season 6, players can take part in Infernal Hordes and Hellbreaches and have their companion loot currency automatically for efficient farming the horde-based activity. Here’s a closer look at how to equip pets in Diablo 4 for more efficient farming.
How to equip pets in Diablo 4
To unlock pets in Diablo 4, you’ll need to complete the Faithful Companion quest. You can find the quest in your quest log and follow it to the Fractured peaks. If you own the Vessel of Hatred, you can get a companion from the expansion, which you can access via the Wardrobe.
Once you start the quest, simply go to the dog in the city, and interact with it to complete the quest. Once you have completed the quest, you can go to the Wardrobe and then select the pets tab. Select the pet you want to use and then exit the wardrobe. You should now find that you have your pet equipped allowing you to automatically loot items.
You can now easily farm items no matter what content you’re doing. It’s a major help for the Infernal Horde activity as you need to collect the currency to open boxes at the end of the run. These boxes will give you gold, resources, or equipment, with each costing different variations of the resource you get from the activity.
