All Ghost of Yotei weapons and how to unlock them
The Ghost of Yotei weapons at your disposal include all the staples you’d expect from a game set in Feudal Japan: katana, kusarigama, odachi, and more. You’ll start with the katana, then quickly pick up the dual katana, and then unlock more weapons as the story unfolds. As we explain in our Ghost of Yotei combat guide, it’s worth tracking them all down, especially the melee weapons. This is because each counters a specific enemy type, a feature referred to as Weapon Alignment.
Unlike most open-world games, there aren’t dozens of variants or unique legendaries to unlock, which makes finding them more straightforward. Most are hidden behind what are called Sensei quests in each region you’ll visit. Here’s a comprehensive list of all Ghost of Yotei weapons, including melee, ranged, and quickfire weapons.
