The Ghost of Yotei Soma the Condemned bounty has you hunting down a musically-inclined warrior who is being a nuisance in the Yotei Grasslands. You can pick it up from Kojiro at Yotei’s Shadow Inn as a special bounty after clearing the first batch of bounties in the Yotei Grasslands.
While finding him is easy enough, actually getting to the man and clashing steel to claim the bounty is a little trickier. Here’s where to find Soma the Condemned and how to get inside the cavern in Ghost of Yotei.
Where to find Soma the Condemned in Ghost of Yotei
You’ll find Soma the Condemned in the northwestern tip of Lake Jozan, which itself is located in the northwest of the Yotei Grasslands. Aim northwest of the Outcrop Homestead and north of the White Dye House. The spot you’re looking for is in the little pocket to the west of the lake when looking at the Ghost of Yotei map. When you get there, you’ll need to clear out a crew of Saito’s men loitering outside of Soma’s hiding spot.
How to get inside the cavern for the Ghost of Yotei Soma the Condemned bounty
To get inside the cavern, head for the cavern entrance where you’ll hear Soma playing his flute. Interact with the door, and Atsu will reveal that there appears to be no way in. Swipe left on the Touch Pad to play Atsu’s Shamisen, then select “Song of Soma”. This will prompt Soma to open the gate.
Enter the cave and follow the path down. Veer left, use the grappling hook to get further in, and then crawl through the gap. Press on and use the grapple to clear the gap and squeeze through to reach Soma the Condemned. Prepare for a tough fight. Once he’s down, you’ll get a touching cut scene where Soma and Atsu play one final song together.
This will wrap up the Ghost of Yotei Soma the Condemned bounty, earning you the Bounty Master Armor and Bounty Master Headband. Remember to head back to the bounty board at Yotei’s Shadow Inn and speak to Kojiro the Bounty Broker to get your earnings: 1,500 Mon.
