Do you need to know all the characters in Foamstars? Taking control of the battlefield with colorful foam is all a part of the fun in Square Enix’s new party shooter, and there are tons of characters to play.

With Foamstar’s release date on the way, there’s never been a better time to get caught up on everything the game offers. Foamstars is packed to the brim with gameplay, rewards, and challenges. You get to enjoy all of these by playing the colorful cast of characters in matches. Who are all the characters in Foamstars, and what are their abilities? We’re here to let you know.

All Foamstars characters

There are eight playable characters in Foamstars at the game’s launch:

  • AGITO
  • Tonix
  • Jet Justice
  • Penny Gwyn
  • Rave Breaker
  • The Baristador
  • Mel T

All eight characters have their own weapons, styles, and their bubble beastie partner.

Soa

  • Weapon Type: Twinkle Groove Dual Pistol Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Spiky

Soa is a famous “Stylish Idol” who has mastered the art of acrobatically controlling bubbles. She has been shown the most in promotional material. She has pink hair, stylish black clothes, and a close-range speed style.

AGITO

  • Weapon Type: MURAMASA Shotgun Type
  • Bubble Beastie: KIRIMARU

AGITO has already dominated the other field of esports, being a pro gamer. He’s now looking to prove himself in other fields, namely Foamstars. He has short purple hair and a jacket with a shark hood. His style is a close-range power style.

Tonix

  • Weapon Type: Her Majesty Queen Soda Burst Rifle Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Squash

Tonix is a genius inventor and is filled with curiosity, wanting to explore and investigate everything around her. She’s got short, spiky teal hair and wears goggles and a blue cropped jacket. Her style is a medium-range assist style.

Jet Justice

  • Weapon Type: Jet Blaster Shotgun Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Graviton

Jet Justice is famous throughout the city. He’s the city’s peacekeeper and is widely known as a civilian hero. Jet Justice is decked out in white from head to toe, except for his bright pink hair. He has an all-arounder style.

Penny Gwyn

  • Bubble Beastie: Slider, Waddler, Emp

Penny Gwyn is known as a penguin soldier and fights against global warming wherever she goes. She’s got a yellow mask shaped like a beak that covers her face and wears blue camouflage. She has a medium-range balanced style.

Rave Breaker

  • Weapon Type: World Sanitizer Wide Hose Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Roly-Moley

Rave Breaker is known as “The Sanitizer”. They have a goal to eliminate all party animals, as many as they can. Rave Breaker has short white hair that fades to green. They have a close-range trickster style.

The Baristador

  • Weapon Type: Coffee Breaker Long Hose Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Toraja

Owner of a local coffee house, The Baristador is known to be gentle and generous. This kind man is decked out in a fancy blue suit and has a golden arm. He has a long-range support style. He can be unlocked by completing challenges in the game.

Mel T

  • Weapon Type: Heartful Delivery Missile Launcher Type
  • Bubble Beastie: Candy

Mel T is the innocent and cute poster girl of Foamstars. Don’t let that fool you, though – she’s also the CEO. Mel T is ice cream-themed, wearing a dress with sweet fruits, and has two ice cream cones on her head. She has a long-range lock-on style and is unlocked via the Season Pass.

Not everyone is for free

The Baristador and Mel T are the ony two characters not available from the beginning of the game. The Baristador must be unlocked through completing challenges, and Mel T is unlocked via the Season Pass.

Each character has their own unique style and weapons. It’s best to try out all the characters to see which play style suits you best.
