Sleep continues to be extremely useful in Shadow of the Erdtree, and figuring out where to find the Velvet Sword of St Trina will help you abuse this status, and show your loyalty to Trina at the same time. This is a simple Straight Sword weapon found in the Fissure, which is located at the very tip of the Cerulean Coast. Here’s where to find it in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Velvet Sword of St Trina location
From the Fissure Cross Site of Grace, run northwest and jump up the ledge. Drop down the platform below and then drop down again to the broken bridge below you. On this broken ledge, face east and then drop down one more time. CContinue going east and you will come to a dead end with the Velvet Sword of St Trina found on a corpse. There are slime enemies hiding above the approach to the corpse, so don’t get caught out.

The Fissure Cross Site of Grace is after the Stone Coffin Fissure, making it a good checkpoint roughly halfway through this small dungeon. This weapon has a unique Ash of War meaning it will take Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade to a maximum level of +10.

The Velvet Sword of St Trina is a unique weapon with a skill that can put enemies to sleep. It is a split magic weapon with physical and magic damage. As a piercing weapon, it also has a higher Critical rate than other straight swords. The sword also inflicts ‘Eternal Sleep’ buildup with each hit, letting you get through a lot of enemies very easily.
The Mists of Eternal Sleep Ash of War imbues your sword with magic and then spreads a wave of sleep in front of you. You need Strength, Dex, and Intellect to use this weapon and get access to its skill.
