Permansor Terrae is a 5-star Physical Preservation unit in the Honkai: Star Rail version 3.6 update. He is an exceptionally powerful sustain unit and is viable across every form of endgame content. This is the third version of Dan Heng after his base and Imbibitor Lunae.

One of the best parts about Permansor Terrae is that he is available to grab for free up until the end of update 4.0. This means everyone can have access to him, especially those who don’t have Aventurine. You only need to pull for his Light Cone, which can also be skipped for alternatives.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is an ATK scaling character, which means you need to stack this stat as much as possible. SPD is also a key stat to secure more turns. This ensures he can keep his shield active on every party member, no matter the incoming damage.

You need to maintain about 3000 ATK for Dan Heng Permansor Terrae to benefit from his buffs. Try to maintain above 134 SPD to gives him two turns per cycle.

It’s also important to remember that he is given out for free, which means you will have Eidolon Zero right from the start. Eidolon One is worth it, as it enhances Permansor Terrae’s support capabilities. This is because at Eidolon One, he can increase the damage of a target while also reducing Skill Point usage.

That said, Eidolon One is only for players who are looking to spend their wishes. If you don’t want to do that, he is completely fine at Eidolon Zero and stacks up as the best sustain in the game. His support capability is also very good at Eidolon Zero, as it’s enhanced only a bit in Eidolon One.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae Light Cone

The best Light Cone for Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is Through Worlds Apart, as it’s his signature Light Cone and synergizes well with his kit. Apart from that, you can also use the 4-star Light Cone Journey, Forever Peaceful, or the 5-star Light Cone, She Already Shut Her Eyes.

Through Worlds Apart

Worlds Apart is the signature option for Dan Heng Permansor Terrae and is needed if you want to fine-tune the character to perform at his best. It increases your ATK by 64 percent. Additionally, after using the Ultimate ability, you’ll restore the HP of all allies by 10%.

Healing is further amplified by 10% for the character in your party who has the lowest HP. This Light Cone also grants all allies in the party the Redoubt buff. This buff increases the damage of all allies by 24% and provides a further 12% buff in the presence of summons.

In short, you receive ATK, healing, and damage boost, three key buffs from Permansor Terrae when this Light Cone is equipped. The difference is definitely noticeable in endgame content, since it amplifies everything his kit can do quite a bit.

Journey, Forever Peaceful

This is a 4-star Light Cone, but a very good option for Permansor Terrae if you want to remain free-to-play. This Light Cone increases the strength of the shield on an ally by 12%. Additionally, every ally with the shield has their damage enhanced by 12%.

Since Dan Heng Permansor Terrae can apply shields to all allies, the shield strength buff and damage buff from the Light Cone also apply to everyone. This makes the party quite strong, but it relies on the shield being maintained. As such, you need to ensure that Permansor Terrae is at 134 SPD or above so that he can cast his shield multiple times.

She Already Shut Her Eyes

This is Fu Xuan’s signature Light Cone and is a good pick if you want to maintain Permansor Terrae’s Energy Recharge. When equipped, it increases the wearer’s max HP by 24% and Energy Recharge by 12%. When the wearer has their HP reduced, it increases the damage dealt by allies by 9%.

Finally, at the start of every wave, every ally will restore HP by 80% of their maximum HP. As such, in terms of buffs and heals, this Light Cone is pretty good. The issue is that the maximum HP boost doesn’t work on Permansor Terrae. You need ATK, and without any boost, it can get a bit tricky to balance the stats.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae relics

Like every character in Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll need both Relics and Ornaments on Permansor Terrae to complete his build. The best Relic set you should go for is Self-Enshrouded Recluse. The 2-piece bonus provides a 10% boost to shields.

When equipped with the 4-piece bonus, it increases shield efficiency by a further 12%. Additionally, the ally that has shields equipped receives a 15% Crit DMG boost. In the case of Permansor Terrae, it’s everyone since he provides shields to all members in the party.

The best Ornament Set for Permansor Terrae is Lushaka of the Sunken Seas. This Ornament set provides a 5% Energy Recharge boost to the wearer. Additionally, if the equipped character is not the first in the lineup, then the other character who is present will have their ATK increased by 12%.

This means you can put any DPS character in the first slot to trigger the second part of the Ornament set. It’s a significant boost in combination with all the other damage boosts the DPS receives from Permansor Terrae and the other supports in the party.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae kit

Permansor Terrae’s kit is pretty simple, unlike Flins from Genshin Impact. Most of Permansor Terrae’s kit revolves around generating shields for his teammates.

His Skill ability creates a shield for all allies and provides Bondmate to a targeted ally. This shield scales off Permansor Terrae’s ATK stats, but it will never exceed 300% of the shield. The Bondmate buff is applied to only the targeted ally and not to other party members.

The importance of the Bondmate buff comes from Permansor Terrae’s Talent ability. Once Bondmate is active, Dan Heng will summon a Soul Dragon. This Soul Dragon will cleanse one debuff from all allies and provide a shield that stacks on top of the one you receive from the Skill.

Dan Heng’s Ultimate ability deals high Physical damage to all enemies. This damage scales off Permansor Terrae’s ATK stats. The Ultimate ability also generates a shield for all allies in the party. Upon casting Ultimate, the Soul Dragon received from Bondmate also becomes enhanced and deals Follow-Up ATK damage to all enemies. This damage from the Soul Dragon scales off Dan Heng’s ATK stats and the attribute type of the Bondmate.

Permansor Terrae’s Technique triggers Bondmate and also inflicts enemies with Daze. Every enemy affected by Daze won’t attack any ally target. If you switch to a different character, the Bondmate buff is transferred to that character. This triggers an automatic skill usage for the character with the Bondmate buff, and it won’t consume a Skill Point.

Finally, Permansor Terrae has three Bonus abilities: Sublimity, Sylvanity, and Empyreanity. Sublimity generates a shield for the ally whose shield value is at its lowest when the Soul Dragon takes action. Additionally, this ability also triggers one instance of damage for the Soul Dragon that scales by 40% of Bondmate’s ATK.

Sylvanity advances Permansor Terrae’s action by 40% at the start of battle. When a Bondmate Attacks, the Soul Dragon will receive a 15% advance on its action. It also regenerates six energy for Dan Heng. Finally, Empyreanity increases the Bondmate’s ATK by 15% when using a Skill ability.

Best Dan Heng Permansor Terrae team guide

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is quite flexible in all types of teams, as his shields are very strong. However, he shines best in single-target DPS teams as Bondmate only applies to one target.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae Single Target team

This team consists of Anaxa, Sunday, Cerydra, and Permansor Terrae. Anaxa is the single-target DPS who can deal quite a bit of damage through his Skill as well as his Ultimate ability.

Permansor Terrae can place his Bondmate on Anaxa to provide all the necessary buffs. Cerydra is a reliable unit for those who deal damage through their Skill, which makes her a perfect partner for Anaxa.

Finally, Sunday is the all-purpose support who can provide high Crit buffs for Anaxa in addition to action forward and Energy Recharge. This creates a well-rounded team where Permansor Terrae keeps everyone healthy through his shield while all buffs are directed towards Anaxa.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae DoT eam

Permansor Terrae is solid in DoT teams since he can provide ATK buffs. However, the problem is that you can only apply Bondmate to one target, which means you’ll have to make a choice. This team will consist of Kafka, Permansor Terrae, Tribbie, and Hysilens.

Kafka will receive the Bondmate, as she is the team’s main DPS. Hysilens and Tribbie will deal damage, but their primary role is to buff Kafka. Hysilens is a very important unit here since she can buff DoT damage, reduce the enemy’s DEF, and increase damage taken by enemies. She is a must-have for any DoT team.

Tribbie provides RES Pen and also deals Follow-Up attack damage. This pairs well with Permansor Terrae and Kafka, who also have Follow-Up attacks in their kits.
