How to clear water and sewage pipes in Cities Skylines 2

Go into Underground Mode and then use the Bulldoze tool to delete pipes in Cities Skylines 2. You can delete them individually or hold the left mouse button to delete several pipes at once. This lets you tidy up your underground network. Note that bridges don’t come with water and sewage pipes by default so you’ll need to connect these routes manually.

Laying pipes is a straightforward process. Select the Water icon on the main interface and then select which pipe you want to lay down. This also shows all the existing connections so that you can add to the network according to your needs. This menu also shows your water and sewage values to make informed decisions with respect to service expansions.

While new buildings right next to roads will automatically form connections to the nearest water and sewage network, some may not do so. That’s where laying down pipes and deleting them comes in. This busywork was far more prevalent in the earlier Cities Skylines title. In the past, roads didn’t come with their own water and sewage lines.

That covers how to delete pipes in Cities Skylines 2. Check if Cities Skylines 2 is on Game Pass before purchasing it on PC. As for Cities Skylines 2 on Xbox and PS5, you’ll need to wait till 2024.
