All Arc Raiders Field Depot locations – How to complete Off The Radar

One of the first missions you’ll pick up from Shani in Arc Raiders, called Off The Radar quest, tasks you with finding a Field Depot and repairing its antenna. Aside from two vague mission objectives, you’re not told much about what constitutes a Field Depot.

To help you track one down on the starting Dam Battlegrounds map, we’ve pulled together all of the Arc Raider Field Depot locations and where to find them. Though they appear on all maps, you’ll only need one to complete the Off The Radar quest. It is, however, well worth tracking them down as they are a reliable source of loot for a little work leg involving Arc Field Crates.

All Arc Raiders Field Depot locations in Dam Battlegrounds

Field Depots appear on the map as rectangular buildings, roughly the size of a shipping container, with a radar antenna and a small satellite dish on the roof. They have a blue sheet on part of the exterior to help identify them. They spawn in fixed, never-changing locations across the Dam Battlegrounds map.

I’ve come across six Field Depots so far. You can refer to the map above for a visual sense of where they are and the short descriptions below to help you pinpoint their respective locations:

1. South of the Electrical Substation, just before the Water Towers.
2. Just northeast of the South Swamp Outpost, southeast of Old Battelgrounds, and west of Water Treatment Control.
3. At the mid-point between the Research & Administration and the Testing Annex on the Red Lakes Balcony.
4. East of the Water Treatment Elevator, west of Control Tower, near Primary Facility.
5. In the west of the Hydroponic Dome Complex, just below the Nature loot symbol on the map.
6. Just southeast of the Power Generation Complex, immediately south of the Raider Outpost East.

As with other smaller structures in Arc Raiders (like Call Stations), Field Stations will pop up with a symbol on your map when you’re near one to help you pinpoint their location. I recommend opting for the Field Depots south of the Electrical Substation, northwest of the Testing Annex, or near the South Swamp Outpost. They are away from busy, contested points of interest, so you’re less likely to get gunned down by Arc robots and fellow players.

How to repair the antenna and complete the Arc Raiders Off The Radar quest

To complete the quest, you’ll need to meet two objectives: visit a Field Depot and repair the antenna on the roof of the Field Depot. Locate and reach one of the Field Depot locations detailed above. 

Head to either side of the depot and you’ll spot a yellow ladder. Climb up to the roof and approach the antenna to receive a prompt to repair it. The repair process is noisy and requires standing still, which can draw unwanted attention, but it should be over fairly quickly. 

At this point, you’ll have met all the objectives and completed the Off The Radar mission. Unlike quests that involve ferrying back specific loot, this one is marked as complete even if you don’t extract. Remember to report back to Shani to claim the Black & White (Origin Color) outfit color and x2 Defibrillator.

How to get loot from Field Depots in Arc Raiders

Aside from completing the Off The Radar quest, Field Depots are a source of loot. To access it, you’ll need to find and carry an Arc Field Crate to the Field Depot, and then slot it into the glowing blue shelf compartment inside the building. Doing so will unlock a loot container on the right. This is actually what you’ll need to do to complete the Down To Earth quest shortly after completing Off The Radar.

Arc Field Crates typically spawn near and around the Field Depot, so they shouldn’t be hard to find. They are medium-sized, shiny, metallic, rectangular containers that display a ‘carry’ prompt when approached.

The loot earned from Field Depots is decent by early-game standards, often containing weapons that are hard to craft early on, like the Anvil hand cannon, and other, more general items like bandages, grenades, and ammo.
