Once you complete Act II of the Anno 117 Pax Romana, you’ll make a triumphant return to Latium after your stint in Albion. Before long, you’ll be hounded by requests for goods that you can’t produce in Latium, forcing you to either buy them from NPC traders or, better yet, import them from Albion.

Need Roast Beef? Not a problem, you can import it from Albion. As with many of the more granular aspects of city management, Anno 117 doesn’t necessarily explain how to do this all that well. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to import from other provinces in Anno 117 Pax Romana.

✓ VideoGamer Summary

  • Select Trade Routes, then New Trade Routes, and select a ship.

  • Select ‘Load Good’ where you want the goods picked up, and then select ‘Unload Good’ where you want them imported.
  • Select ‘Establish New Trade Route’.

How to import from and export to other provinces in Anno 117 Pax Romana

To import from and export to other provinces, start by tapping on the Trade Routes button in the left-hand column HUD menu. Next, tap New Trade Routes at the bottom of the window on the left. From there, add a ship to travel the trade route from your current fleet.

Next, select two or more islands you want the ship to visit on the trade route. To import and export between regions, you’ll need to choose an island in Latium and another in Albion by switching between provinces via the buttons at the top of the map on the right. For example, we’ve selected Cudslip in Albion and Juliana in Latium.

Back on the window on the left, tap the ‘Load Good’ button on the island where you want your ship to pick up goods (i.e., where you wish to export them from). Here, we’ve gone for Roast Beef. Next, select ‘Unload Good’ on the island where you want the Roast Beef to go, i.e., where you want it imported. To wrap everything up, press the Establish Route button on the left-side window.

Before long, your ship will start sailing the trade route, picking up goods and then unloading them where you’ve indicated you want them imported. You can also select more than one good type if needed, allowing you to import and export all manner of useful Needs and raw materials.

You can have as many trade routes as you have ships, letting you set up a complex import and export operation as needed. It’s also worth assigning Captain Specialists to trading ships to cut down on travel time or expand the number of trade slots they have, therefore increasing how much cargo they can carry.
