Anime Vanguards has a whole host of units to pick from across the various rarities. It can become tedious to make informed decisions on which ones to use and when. This is especially true if you’re new or returning after a while. So, how to pick your units? Of course, you’ll want to use the best ones you can. To help you with that, we have ranked all Anime Vanguards units in our tier list, ranking them from best to worst. Let’s check them out.
Anime Vanguards unit tier list
With dozens of units available in Anime Vanguards, it can be tough to make a good choice. Use our tier list below to single out the best units to use. We’ve arranged them in an overall power scale, rather than focusing on a single game mode, such as Story or Leaderboards (aka Infinite). In addition, we’ve ranked them without taking into account their Traits and Familiars, which can additionally skew the results. The reason being, once you’re ready to use those systems effectively, you’ll be able to recognise which units fit best in the first place. With that out of the way, let’s see what are the strongest units in Anime Vanguards.

How to get new units in Anime Vanguards?
The main way to get new units in Anime Vanguards is by summoning – essentially rolling – on the gacha banners. There are a few banners active at all times, and each will advertise its strongest or rarest units. In most cases, you’ll have to spend Gems to roll on banners, though in some cases (such as Events), other currencies may be required. As such, Gems are very important to get the strongest units, so we suggest using Anime Vanguards codes to get more than you would otherwise.
Another important feature of rolling on gacha banners is the pity system. In essence, this allows you to get “closer” to getting the strongest units the more you roll. For example, if the Mythic pity system for a banner is set to 400, then after 399 rolls, you are guaranteed a Mythic unit on your 400th roll. You can also use Lucky Boosts (aka potions) to increase your luck when rolling. These can be bought using Robux, although it’s worth noting that they won’t reduce your pity rating.
