Final Fantasy XIV Online producer Naoki Yoshida has announced July 21 as the target release date for the upcoming 1.18 update.
The update is said to include reforms to Guildleves, which will now be transformed into solo-oriented quests, and Battles enmity, which controls how hostile enemies are to you in battles.
Yoshida has noted that there may be a one or two day delay in the release of the update, however.
Currently the team is debugging two instanced raids for the release.
Final Fantasy XIV Online met with harsh criticism when it was first released thanks to a hugely troubled launch resulting in a prolonged free to play period.
Further information regarding changes to the game can be found on the official FFXIV website.
