The upcoming patch for Final Fantasy XIV Online, Patch 1.20, will be delayed by roughly ten days according to producer Naoki Yoshi.
In his regular Letter from the Producer feature, he states the delay will be to ensure the delivery of features such as the Dark Moogle battle, class reforms, achievements, PC search, and market tweaks.
He added that this delay is very unlikely to affect Patch 1.21 or the major Version 2.0 update set for 2012.
Additionally, Yoshi clarifies that the extended free trial for Final Fantasy XIV Online will not end until Patch 1.20 has been out “for a while”.
Final Fantasy XIV Online has been regularly patched for the last year following its disastrous launch.
