Trials HD is one of those games that gets everyone over to the TV to see what all the fuss is about. Tom’s job of reviewing the game was made all the harder with the rest of the team wanting to have a go on almost every level, simply because it’s one of the most addictive, adrenaline fuelled, and ultimately hilarious games we’ve ever seen on Xbox LIVE Arcade. It doesn’t matter how good a gamer you are, you will crash big time, you will nail seemingly impossible jumps, and you will be hurling the controller at your TV in frustration. So just to give you a little heads up on what to expect, we’ve put together a bunch of clips detailing some of the more awesome, funny and downright stupid moments we encountered while playing. Enjoy!

Just getting over the first obstacle may have you tearing your hair out

Ambitious flips may result in very, very dead drivers.

But every now and then a jump goes perfectly, and you will feel awesome for doing it!

Trials07.jpg

If falling on your ass doesn’t seem painful enough, you could always crawl over a high ledge to a far more satisfying death?

Trials08.jpg

You didn’t stick your landing! But we applaud the excellent dismount, legs straight toes pointed!

Very rarely do you make it start to finish without a bone crunching crash, so when you do, savour the moment.

The feeling of futility can be a horrible thing, so at over 250 attempts at the same obstacle, you start to lose hope.

Not entirely sure exactly what happened here, but it just keeps going, and it doesn’t look much like he wants to stop either.
