The Simpsons in Fortnite is arguably one of the most successful collaborations seen recently. Epic Games’ free-to-play battle royale features the eponymous family, Springfield, and many of its iconic inhabitants until the end of November, with plenty of missions and objectives to solve.

Since its 1989 debut, The Simpsons has spawned numerous memes that are used daily. Whether that’s on social media to highlight news, or as a private joke between friends in group chats, there’s plenty of potential for Epic Games to leverage some of these.

The shopkeeper who gave Homer the clown spoke of the dangers of a yoghurt with a poisoned topping. This ended with the doll turning good and befriending Homer.

For Fortnite, the doll could be a great sidekick, following you around the map for the whole match, or as an item that can hone in on the location of opponents. The poisoned topping could be thrown toward opponents and slowly drain their health. These are two memes that feel perfect for this collab.

3. Itchy and Scratchy Land

In another iconic episode from Season Six, The Simpsons visit Itchy and Scratchy Land, a theme park based on the in-universe cartoon of a violent cat and mouse duo. A part of the map could include this theme park, complete with killer robots and Bort licence plates that could grant a shield power-up.

In addition, another meme from the pilot with the iconic line, “Nothing can possibly go wrong,” could be heard on the battle bus at random moments. Ultimately, Itchy and Scratchy Land feels like a perfect add-on.

A significant aspect of Fortnite is the variety of vehicles available, which the collab could leverage to great effect. From The Homer car to the Rocket vehicle from The Simpsons: Hit and Run, there’s no shortage of options that could have their own unique abilities. But one that sticks out could be the ‘Put it in H!’ car from the Season Four episode, Mr Plow.
