Thanks to the sad death of FM25, we’ll have waiting 24 months for a new game when Football Manager 26 finally releases. That’s a long time without a fresh FM fix, which means there’s going to be a lot of new names in the database. The silver lining? The young talents are going to feel brand new. Forget Endrick and Valentín Barco. The future is here, old man, and it’s looking bright.

So I’ve done the homework and scoped out who could be the best new wonderkids in Football Manager 2026 (whenever it actually arrives). You might want to bookmark this or dust off your trusty FM notebook, because if my scouting senses are tingling correctly, these are names you won’t want to forget.

Francesco Camarda – AC Milan – Striker

Let’s kick things off with the most famous name on the list. In 2023, Camarda became the youngest-ever player to debut in Serie A, at just 15 years and 260 days old. He’s been terrorising youth defences for years, with numbers that make Haaland look like he took it easy in the U15s. FM26 is bound to give him golden boy status. The only question is whether you can make him your club’s top scorer before PSG inevitably swoop in.

Vincent Ibrahimovic – AC Milan – Attacking Midfielder

Having the most intimidating surname in football could either be a blessing or a burden. Vincent, son of Zlatan, is trying to carve his own path through Milan’s youth system. He’s a technically gifted attacking midfielder, and while FM26 might start him off a bit under the radar, that surname guarantees he won’t stay there for long. Also, maybe this is your sign to manage AC Milan, the first two wonderkids are already in red and black.

Charlie Holland – Chelsea – Central Midfielder

Every England youth side has “that guy,” and right now, it looks like Charlie Holland is him. Captain of the U16s, mainstay at Chelsea, and playing with a maturity way beyond his years. Think of him as a modern Michael Carrick: smart, composed, always in the right place. FM players who value tempo control and leadership are going to love him. England’s midfield talent pool is overflowing, but Holland looks like the next to step up.

Amara Diouf – Generation Foot – Winger/Striker

Senegal’s next big thing has already been called the heir to Sadio Mané’s throne — and some are saying he’s the most promising youngster in all of Africa. Diouf lit it up with Senegal’s U17s, smashing records before he even turned 16. Génération Foot gave us Mané, and if FM26 is paying attention, Diouf will be the next attacking terror in your save. Sign him early, because Europe’s top clubs definitely won’t wait.

Toni Fernandez – Barcelona – Attacking Midfielder/Striker

La Masia doesn’t deal in mediocrity. Toni Fernández is the latest graduate with sky-high potential and that classic Barça DNA: technical brilliance, versatility, and flair for days. If you’re looking for a Pedri regen or a false nine project to build around, this is your guy. Bonus: with Barcelona still struggling financially, he might not even be that expensive if you’re managing in the Premier League.

Enzo Alves – Real Madrid – Striker

The next Gen Z Galáctico… and yes… he’s Marcelo’s son. But Enzo Alves is earning his own stripes, scoring freely for Madrid’s Infantil A side with the same kind of flair his dad showed at left-back. Sometimes the FM AI is awful at giving game time to youth players, which means Enzo could be surprisingly easy to snap up early. Of course, he could also become Real Madrid’s £200m top scorer in a few seasons.

It’s been six months since FM25 was announced, and only a few months since it was pronounced dead.

Cavan Sullivan – Philadelphia Union – Attacking Midfielder

Arguably the most hyped 15-year-old in world football, Cavan Sullivan is already locked into a record MLS deal, and a future move to Man City. The kid’s on EA FC cards already. FM26 should reflect the hype with an absurd PA score. He might be hard to sign because of the City move, but it’s worth keeping tabs on him just in case that deal doesn’t pan out in your save.

Jorthy Mokio – Ajax – Central Defender

Ajax rarely misses with defenders, and Jorthy Mokio is the next one up. Calm, composed, and already attracting Premier League attention before his 17th birthday. If you’re after a ball-playing centre-back to build around, he’s your guy. Sign him young, give him minutes, and he’ll grow into your own Virgil van Dijk. But don’t dawdle… this is your only window before the big clubs snap him up.

Konstantinos Karetsas – Genk – Attacking Midfielder

Belgium’s conveyor belt of talent keeps churning, and Karetsas might be its next headline act. He’s a teenage technician with vision, flair, and the ability to unlock any defence. Already making waves in Belgium’s top flight and still only 17. If you’re not signing him for the talent, at least sign him for the name. Konstantinos Karetsas is a Football Manager legend waiting to happen.

Chido Obi-Martin – Manchester United – Striker

Arsenal fans will remember the name. He’s the lad who scored ten goals in one youth match. Now at Manchester United after some club-hopping, he’s one of the most physically dominant teenage strikers in the country. In FM26, expect power, raw finishing, and a sky-high potential rating. Shame about the club, though.

Julian Hall – New York Red Bulls – Winger/Striker

MLS wonderkids are hit and miss, but Julian Hall is skipping the queue. Debuted at 15, attracting European interest, and plays like someone twice his age. In FM26, he’s perfect for a North American save or as a budget bench warmer in the Premier League who turns into a star. He’ll be cheap early; but if he reaches his potential, the resale value is going to be ridiculous.

Final Thoughts

These are some of the top names who could be wonderkids in Football Manager 2026. If you’re after a more comprehensive list, FM Scout has a great article worth checking out. But what do you think? Have I missed anyone you think should be in the top 11? Anyone here you reckon is overhyped? Let me know in the comments!
