DLC round-up May 19, 2012 – Xbox 360 vs PS3

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we’ll give you a run-down of what’s available to download on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Wii is no longer included in our round-up.

It’s difficult this week with neither platform featuring a standout example of digital content to tip the balance. PS3 boasts the latest PixelJunk extry, 4am, but this PS Move music creator’s lack of traditional gameplay isn’t likely to appeal to everyone.

On Xbox there’s the two free Modern Warfare 3 maps, Erosion and Aground, which will be a must download for all players.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II has made it to both platforms, but we can’t recommend it, certainly not before you give the demo a spin.

We’re calling this one a draw
