Square Enix has announced the February 27, 2009 release of TAITO’s My Pet Shop for Nintendo DS across all PAL territories.
My Pet Shop is the first game from Square Enix to be primarily targeted at the pre-teens market, specifically at girl gamers.
Players will need to work to help run the best pet shop that Green Town has ever seen, with over 40 different animals able to be found and cared for. These include dogs, cats, pigs, pandas and bears. In addition to the virtual pet style caring gameplay, My Pet Shop will also feature a storyline suitable for young gamers.
With over 100+ fashion accessories available players will be able to customise the look of their pets and share them with friends using the handheld’s wireless functionality.
