It seems that Sony isn’t having any trouble getting big movie studios to support their shiny new toy. Disney has announced that they will release movies on the UMD format for the PSP. Disney’s Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release five UMD movies this spring: National Treasure,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “Reign of Fire,” “Kill Bill Vol. 1” and “Hero.”

Pricing for the titles has not been announced, but Sony is to sell UMD movies at $20 and up. There is no news on European pricing of UMD movies.
