Speaking to MTV Multiplayer David Jaffe, co-founder of Eat Sleep Play, has affirmed his studio’s commitment to Sony, although admits the PC market is appealing.

“On the console side we’re definitely with Sony as long as they’ll have us. On the PC side we’re absolutely crazy eager to get into the casual market, the kind of small downloadable games market. Right now all of our attention and focus is with our Sony deal and we’re happy with that,” said Jaffe. “But we think that in the relatively near future you might start hearing something from us coming out on that front.”

Jaffe also expressed a desire to leave behind initial plans to create cheaper, downloadable titles for the PS3.

“… right now on console we’re not interested in doing what we thought we were going to be doing entirely as a company, which was doing PSN console-based small, $9.99 downloadable arcade games. We’re definitely not exploring that,” he said.

So does this mean David Jaffe and Eat Sleep Play are to be working on a game with much grander scale for Sony’s PS3? We certainly hope so.
