Buena Vista Games has announced that they have acquired Avalanche Software, the development firm behind titles such as ‘Tak and the Power of Juju’. Avalanche are also currently developing the ‘Chicken Little’ videogame to coincide with the release of the Disney movie in November. Avalanche and its team of more than a hundred will remain in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Buena Vista Games also revealed a brand new development studio in Vancouver, Canada. The studio is led by a number of experienced developers who have previously worked at Electronic Arts on the ‘NBA Street’ and ‘Def Jam’ games. We’ll keep you updated on any titles that are announced from the new studio.
